NGK B-ES Range Spark-plugs NGK standard spark plugs with copper cored centre electrodes for wide heat range. Coppers superior heat conductivity dissipates the heat of combustion away from the firing end, preventing hot spots that can lead to pre-ignition. Copper cored electrodes also mean that longer insulator noses can be used to protect against fouling. NGK B-EG Range Spark-plugs These plugs feature a smaller diameter centre electrode tip made of conventional nickel alloy. The smaller diameter centre electrode means the voltage required to produce a spark is reduced. However as the tip is made of conventional nickel alloy the service life is reduced and these plugs are best used in applications where plugs are frequently changed, ie racing. Price: £5.50 / 6.38 Including VAT at 17.5% Heat Range #101 B8EG #102 B9EG #103 B10EG
NGK BR-EG Resistor Range Spark Plugs These plugs feature a smaller diameter centre electrode tip made of conventional nickel alloy. The smaller diameter centre electrode means the voltage required to produce a spark is reduced. However as the tip is made of conventional nickel alloy the service life is reduced and these plugs are best used in applications where plugs are frequently changed, ie racing. Resistor plugs should always be used where they are recommended by manufacturers. The use of non-resistor plugs, can, in some cases, result in damage to electronic components. NGK BR-EIX Iridium Resistor Spark Plugs These plugs have a small diameter centre electrode which is made of Iridium alloy. The smaller diameter centre electrode means the required voltage is even lower. Resistor plugs should always be used where they are recommended by manufacturers. The use of non-resistor plugs, can, in some cases, result in damage to electronic components. Price: £8.95 / 10.39 Including VAT at 17.5% Heat Range #101 BR8EIX #102 BR9EIX #103 BR10EIX
