Sometimes you may find that your fork seals do not seem to last very long, this can usually be attributed to either damage caused during fitting or the seal not seated squarely. Even when your forks have been serviced you shouldn't just forget about them until the next service, the wiper seals should be removed and cleaned regularly as dirt between the wiper seal and the fork seal will only shorten their working life.
TIP: With USD Forks never overtighten your fork yoke clamps, as this will seriously impair the handling ability of your forks. Always torque the bolts up to the manufacturers recommended torque setting.
